Projects

RedIRIS' participation in R&D&I projects enables validation of new technologies, adaptation of these to user community needs, support for specific activities carried out by research groups and, overall, accumulation of knowledge to improve the Spanish academic network.

RedIRIS currently participates in the following projects:
 

	FI-Core (final development phase of the FIWARE platform for Internet services of the future: Smart cities, Internet of Things, etc.)
	GN3plus (pan-European academic communications network and ICT services for scientific collaboration)
	EUMEDCONNECT3 (development of academic communications networks in the Mediterranean basin)
