GÉANT nos ha enviado la siguiente comunicación relacionada con la eliminación del campo OU de los certificados el próximos día 1 de julio de 2022:
Dear Sectigo customer,
In compliance with pending policy changes set by the CA/Browser (CA/B) Forum, Sectigo will deprecate the Organizational Unit (OU) Field in certificates starting July 1, 2022.
Any processes or systems that depend on the presence of or information in the OU field could be impacted. This change primarily impacts public EV and OV SSL / TLS certificates, as well as both EV and standard code signing certificates.
Starting no later than April 1, 2022, Sectigo plans to offer a mechanism to temporarily turn off the OU field on a per-account basis. This optional feature will enable you to conduct real-world tests to assess the impact of this change with the option to “roll back” and adjust your technology or processes prior to the deadline.
To find out more about how this may affect you, please refer to our blog and FAQ on this topic or contact your Sectigo Account Manager.
