On the 2nd Meeting of the FIRST SIG Europe all participants agreed on a template for contact and team information. This template was realized after the meeting by the DFN-CERT and sent to the mailing list fsig-europe@cert.dfn.de. This page is modeled after it.

IRIS-CERT

RedIRIS Computer Emergency Response Team

Constituency:

Full service (including specialized security planning and training) to all organizations affiliated to RedIRIS.

Limited service (incident handling and coordination with other IRTs) for the whole of Spain.

Structure:

IRIS-CERT is a service provided by RedIRIS, the Spanish national research network.

Since January 2004, RedIRIS becomes a department within Red.es, maintaining its autonomy and identity. Our funding body is the National Plan for Researd Development.

As a service, IRIS-CERT belongs in the Security and Systems Area, but it benefits from close relationship with RedIRIS' other three areas, namely Network, Applications, and Institutional Liaisons.
